The cookie notice bar shown at the bottom of the page (“This website uses cookies”) exists solely to transparently inform visitors in advance that the website may use cookies at some point in the future, and to give them a way to indicate their preference. Clicking “Accept” or “Decline” on that bar simply stores the visitor’s choice locally, in the browser’s so-called local storage, on their own device. This is technically not a cookie, is never transmitted to any server, and does not contain any personal or identifying information.
For transparency, the following section describes the usual categories of cookies in general terms – even though none of them are currently used on this site.
These cookies are only valid for the duration of a browsing session and are automatically deleted when the browser is closed. They primarily support the basic technical operation of a website.
These cookies remain on the visitor’s device for a predetermined period, or until manually deleted. Their purpose is typically to improve the user experience by remembering previous settings.
First-party cookies are set by the website being visited, while third-party cookies are set by an external provider, such as an advertising or analytics platform (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel). primetax.hu does not currently use any such third-party services, and therefore does not set any third-party cookies on visitors’ devices.
